TomTom today announces two new navigation devices designed to deliver clear bottom-line benefits for businesses by improving the efficiency of their mobile workforces.
The PRO series from TomTom Business Solutions, the business unit of TomTom dedicated to commercial vehicle fleets, offers improved route guidance and speedier route calculation which saves time spent on the road. It comes with an improved user interface, is easier to use and hosts a variety of safety features such as Advanced Lane Guidance, hands-free calling and text-to-speech.
“In business time is money. With a fleet of vehicles on the road eight hours a day, every minute saved on a journey delivers real savings. With TomTom PRO you will be able to spend more time with your customers and less time on the road,” says Thomas Schmidt, Managing Director of TomTom Business Solutions.
The PRO devices deliver accurate travel and arrival time using real speed data collected from millions of users. They have more extensive maps covering an extra two million kilometres of roads across 45 European countries. Eco Routes guides your drivers via more fuel-efficient routes saving your company money as well as reducing the impact on the environment.
The PRO series as part of the WORKsmart solution offers connectivity to allow for easy fleet management and access to LIVE Services. WORKsmart functionality includes vehicle tracking, job dispatch, time management, eco driving and management reporting. TomTom LIVE Services give the professional driver access to HD Traffic, the most accurate traffic information available, as well as Speed Cameras, Local Search and TomTom Weather.
